And with a new 5-Tonne model available, you have a flat, strong base on which to build your perfect vehicle, however you like, with up to 2,960 kg of payload. Tough, reliable and versatile. The Transit Chassis Single Cab is purpose-built to meet the unique demands of your business.1

Key Features

The key to a more connected world

The New Transit Chassis Cab is now available with a FordPass Connect modem§. The system unlocks a range of powerful benefits, including up to 4G WiFi* for up to ten devices, and real-time traffic updates†† delivered straight to your SYNC 3 navigation system. When combined with the FordPass app on your phone, you’ll be able to check if you remembered to lock the doors, and then lock or unlock them remotely. You can also monitor the status of your vehicle and even check to see if any maintenance is required.

Ford EcoBlue TDCi engines

Featuring a range of advanced 2.0-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engines, the New Transit Chassis Cab is more powerful and more efficient than ever. With four powertrains available, offering up to 185 PS of horsepower, you’re guaranteed to find the one that best meets your specific needs.

A system that can help protect pedestrians

Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection uses RADAR and camera technology to scan the road ahead. If a collision risk with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist is detected, it’ll then provide you with a warning. If you don’t respond in time, the system can automatically apply up to full braking force to help reduce the severity of, or even eliminate, some frontal collisions. Emergency Brake Assist helps your vehicle achieve maximum braking effectiveness in an emergency situation. The system senses how much pressure you’ve applied to the brake yourself and automatically increases it, if necessary.
