Auto Boland was delighted to support the Cortina Enthusiasts of Ireland as the club celebrated two special milestones: the 60th anniversary of the Mk2 Cortina and the 50th anniversary of the Mk4 Cortina.
Held in Enniscorthy, the gathering brought club members and visitors together to celebrate two much-loved models from Ford’s history, with a shared appreciation for the cars and the people who keep them on the road.
As part of our sponsorship, winners received beautifully inscribed Waterford Glass vases to commemorate the occasion. Shauna attended on behalf of Auto Boland Ford to make the presentations and join the club for the Sunday celebrations.
Following the event, club chairperson Liz Curran sent her thanks for the sponsorship, describing the Cortina banner as a striking focal point that attracted the attention of passers-by. She also shared how pleased the winners were with their commemorative prizes and thanked Shauna for making the trip to Enniscorthy.
We were delighted to play a part in a day that meant so much to the club and its members. Events like these celebrate a lasting enthusiasm for motoring and the dedication involved in preserving these classic cars for future generations.
Congratulations to all the winners, and thank you to Liz and everyone at the Cortina Enthusiasts of Ireland for organising such an enjoyable celebration.
